Little windows of coastal Adriatic region called ponestrice are persistent and constant inspiration for all categories of artists in mediterranean region of Europe: painters, form and model makers, writers, photographers, storytellers etc...

A treasure of colours, variety of their shapes and forms could be hardly compared with any other motif of our coastal region. They are trademark image of many typical mediterranean cities like Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Split, Naples, Marseilles, Barcelona and others...

In spite of numerosity and patchwork of art pieces with this motif, in the moment you could think that theme is completely exhausted, there comes the author

Ada Coric, with her associates Srecko and Irena Marelic, artists with original approach and a choice of natural and ecological materials and, at least, with their rich talent, who offer us a brand new sight to one symbol-motif of the Adriatic coast that is used so many times by so many authors.

These art pieces' sizes are from approximately 12X25 cm (5X10 in) to 20X30 cm (8X12 in), depending of window type and class. They are made of ceramic base, wooden and metal parts, enriched with a lot of charming details like mounts, little curtains, draperies and dried flowers. Every single piece is hand painted with ecological colours, then varnished. All these cute little windows are unique handwork.
